Trend Tex challenge

My piece for CQA's Trend Tex Challenge placed 3rd place overall. 

There were over one hundred entries. 

Guild Quilt Show 2014

Here are some pictures from our local quilt show.

Diana's quilt received 3rd in its category and 1st for Viewer's Choice

My (and my mom's) wedding ring quilt won 1st in Long Arm Professional

This beautiful feather wallhanging I quilted on my domestic machine and won 1st in its category.

My dancer wallhanging won 2nd in its category.

Mom's Dear Jane won 1st in its category.

Wedding Ring Quilt

This quilt is a pattern by Judy Niemeyer called Bali Wedding Star. I chose the fabrics and colour arrangement. I started piecing the quilt top and my mom, Becky, finished for me. It was a challenging quilt from start to finish! I'm happy with how it turned out.

Very large quilt. I did an E2E pantograph.

Mom's Dear Jane Progress - now finished!

This Dear Jane Quilt is pieced and appliquéd all by machine by Becky Beall. 

I quilted it for her.

Dresden Plate Flowers

I made this quilt for a very good friend of mine.

The background is pieced with multiple light fabrics.

The flowers were made with the Dresden Plate template.

I used a Minky backing, so it is very comfy.

Elephant quilt

This is a whole cloth quilt I finished for a customer. It is a piece from India. The elephants were completed with a trapunto technique.
