Pictogram

This customers quilt was made using templates and her domestic sewing machine - she used some of the built in fancy stitches on her machine. It was not done using an embroidery machine. She did a great job and I loved quilting it. Take a look.

I am so happy to be finished this wall hanging. 

It was started in a class by Kim Caskey called Story People. 

We used a favourite quote or phrase as inspiration for this free flowing wall hanging. 

Techniques used include: curved piecing, raw edge appliqué, trapunto, and machine quilting.

Chamomile Pantograph

This quilt has custom borders and a pantograph called "Chamomile" in the centre.

It is big, about 100" x 110".

This is a customers quilt. She plans to use it on her table. 

I love the colours and prints she chose :)

I did custom quilting in each block and the back looks as good as the front.

This is a stunning pieced quilt with over 3000 squares! It was big too. 

I did a Pantograph called Wholelotta feathers.

Star Quilt - long arm quilting

This whimsical customers quilt was fun to quilt. I started with a border from a "Follow the line Quilting Designs" by Mary Covey. I think the house and tree border suits the quilt well. I then echo quilted inside and around each appliqué. To finish, I free hand filled in the blue background with at star / swirl design and on the snow with an open seashell.
