Kate's quilt finished!

I finally finished up Kate's quilt. 

Mom is going to put the binding on for me - Thanks Mom!

The quilt has many feathers on it and in the border I decided to do cross hatching.

Week 4 - Dear Jane

Week 4 of my Dear Jane quilt and I have finished a few of this weeks blocks.

This is actually a week 3 block, almost finished. It is ready to be appliquéd using a reverse appliqué technique.

Week three finishes tonight... and I am only done 2 of the assigned 4 blocks. 

Guess I had better catch up tomorrow.

The next quilt on the frame

I made this quilt a few years ago for my daughter. 

I knew that I wanted to quilt feathers on it, but I haven't felt confident enough to give it a go. 

So now is the time! 

It's going to be the next quilt on the frame.

I'm 2 days late, but Week 2 blocks are finished.

I took a class in Grand Rapids, MI in Aug with Sue Nickels. 

When I got home, I made this project. 

I used variegated Aurifil thread on a silk/cotton blend fabric. 

I made this on my domestic Pfaff machine.

New Threads - Longarm quilting

I received my shipment of Threads from Fil-Tec this morning. 

Now it is time to have some fun! 

I am going to quilt this fractured flower quilt top made by my Mom.
