A few recent quilts

I've been a bit behind on blogging. 

Here are a few recent quilts I have finished for customers.

30's prints

I'm very happy with how this quilt turned out. 

The 30's prints were a lot of fun to look at while I quilted. The quilting designs suit the pattern nicely and the cross hatching in the appliqué border is very traditional.

 This customers quilt was a joy to quilt. 

It was a long process though.

Beyond the Colour Purple

This stunning quilt is an embroidered quilt called Beyond the Colour Purple.

I quilted Free motion Victorian Feathers around the embroidery.

I also used cable and rope designs in the borders.

Elaine's quilt

This quilt has been a while in the finishing; I took it off the frame to finish some other quilts and then procrastinated about getting it finished. 

The belongs to a friend of mine and she designs quilt patterns, so please leave a comment if you are interested in the pattern.

Appliquéd Flowers

This beautifully appliquéd quilt was a pleasure to quilt.

It is finished with a scalloped edge (which was trimmed after quilting).

I did curved cross hatching and curly cue feathers to add to the appliqué design.
